Illustration Challenge - Japanese Culture
#illustrationchallenge is an internet phenomenon among aspiring illustrators to draw something under a specific theme in a certain period of time.
I draw something in Japan that ordinary for local people but may not for foreigners, and posted in my Instagram account with hashtag #illustrationchallengejapan https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/illustrationchallengejapan/ for 30 days with a short description and personal anecdotes.
I know that the popularity of Japanese culture mostly goes to sushi and manga, but they’re not all about! I wanted to introduce more daily basis level of Japanese culture from the local’s point of view with friendly illustrations.
