Avenir Next Type Book

Avenir Next is an iconic font. Inspired by its backstory, the creator’s story and my own cultural background, a minimal, Bauhaus inspired layout seemed fitting. The overall theme was also inspired by another great German art teacher, Josef Albers and his teaching on color. With illustrations of some of his exercises and playing around with the grid and everything this large font family has to offer, this book is an illustration of what this font is capable of.
