In the middle of my day job, I saw the Daily UI email notification. I desperately clicked on the notification in a wave of curiosity to see what lies ahead š„ drumroll š„
Create a Calculator š
Sometimes you have to design things that don't really tickle your fancy. This is such a design.
Inspired by this morning's sunrise, I decided to choose a warm gradient as the background, and a cold, hard digital-esque sans-serif font to contrast.
I thought to keep prior calculations available for the user to reference. I created an opacity gradient to maintain a clear hierarchy of what the current calculation is vs older calculations. I left room larger numbers to be displayed, ideally, these would scale up or down to fit within the viewport.
