Relics of the Inner World

This piece is my first depiction of a new character archetype/profession in the Lost Rest universe: the Lightkeeper. Lightkeepers roam the world on a mission to discover and protect unknown lands and the cultures found there.

This piece also introduces Relics as they're known in this lore: symbolic representations of aspects of the creative process, which is the main theme explored in my current work. Here, they are used as markers for metaphysical locations in the "Inner World", as if to identify mental places to which one needs to make pilgrimage.
