Quoted Text in Email Apps

Email clients still have a very annoying UI/UX issue...quoted text. It hasn't been updated to modern standards and is a mess to navigate in apps. The quoted text is nested upon nested into ever smaller text space. We aimed to address this issue. Here we have an example using Gmail. There is a small button to expand the quoted text. Each instance of quoted text is expandable one at a time w/a subtle gray background. This would allow you to more easily read the quoted text as it was meant to be.
