Jurassic Park Finder

Toronto has a love for its sports teams that is a little nuts, to say the least. The city took the world by surprise this year as Raptors Fever spread globally. Whether your a die-hard fan or a bandwagoner, the energy throughout the city leading up to playoffs is real, and contagious.

With only one NBA team in the country, getting tickets to a big game is hard, and expensive, so in true form, the fans found a way. In front of the arena, fans created a viewing area nicknamed Jurassic Park. This has evolved from a small gathering of a few hundred people, to tens of thousands of fans lining the streets in Red. As it gets closer to the playoffs, ‘Jurassic Parks’ start to pop up all over Toronto, Canada, and the world.

This experience makes it easier for fans to connect. Putting pop-up Jurassic Parks on the map, making the game schedule easily accessible and aggregating an online community – giving them the chance to share content with other fans in real time from around the world.

As an extra element added for fun, users can switch between using the 'New School' or the 'Old School' interface. 'New School' aligning with the current red/black/gold team colours. 'Old School' throwing back to the decade spent in purple/white/red/black.
