Mental Floss Magazine – Gift Giving Traditions

This illustration, for Mental Floss magazine, goes along with an article about 4 different gift giving traditions around the world. I conceptualized each present as its persona. This illustration is for the Japanese gift giving tradition, where a person is expected to discreetly open any presents given to them after everyone has left, like some kind of stealth ninja.
