Surviving in the Wild
Using objects such as a lantern, pulley, rope, wheel, and wine in different materials such as glass, leather, fiber, wood, and metal, I wanted to create a diverse array of things used to survive in the wild. I drew this piece from direct observation, choosing the center pulley as the point of focus in the piece and fading the wheel into the background to recreate the depth effect that our eyes provide.
