Archives Dropdown

Looking for a little feedback. I need the archive button to be obvious that it's a drop down but I'm afraid adding shadow & gradient may break from the consistency of the other very flat items. Think that's a bad thing? I could see it being okay since it's a very specific element that needs to stand out but I'm not sold.
