Carrousel animation by @Chris Slowik - thx ;)

The effect looks pretty awesome. And even if you give the icon at first, I didn't get it the fitst time. It's on the second animation i got it. That could be a big UX problem. You could solve it by a quick "how to" when first launching the app and then showing that icon on every image load to remind the user. i guess once you used that side bar once or twice you should get used to it. But it sure is confusing at first.
@Jeremy Sallée ✦✦✦ Thanks dude, yea I think a quick how-to would do it for sure. This is on very early stages though. Also, there is a lot more to it than just a side bar. This is just a fraction of it.
Awesome animation. Might be nice using this interface
Oh dude ! Nice work. I agre @Jeremy Sallée ✦✦✦ comment.
Very nice interaction! really refreshing, and I also like the graphic used for instructing the interaction
Great idea, but I'm not too keen on the UI.
Probably just a style preference.
Really a big fan of that "glass-effect" that you nailed pretty damn good :) Nice animation.
Epic concept! My feedback would be the border on the videos looks a little bit weird so maybe add some shadows there or something of that sort. Anyway I love this good job! :D
I wonder if it would be easier to understand if you started with the categories, and slid sideways onto the images?
Great work and love how fluid it feels, my main gripe would be how much space is sacrificed on the images... it doesn't do them justice - unless there's a way to get a full view.
@Dash Great concept, dude. I love the icon at the start too.
@Lukas Hermann ⚒ There were supposed to be shadows there, not sure what happened :)
@Jordan Borth good idea! I think that would be really helpful, thanks!
@Adam Blair Working on that, there definitely will be away to see full view and more details while keeping it all fluid.
@Matthew Sanders Thanks! Still lot of work to do but is coming along.
As always and as your work using is, sweet and awesome! Great job!
@Dash oh I see it! it's just kinda hard to see because the whole thing is pretty dark.
@Dash Looks great, man!
