Mark

This is the second of four posters in a set of individual posters on the first four books of the New Testament—the four gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Conceptually I wanted to use the Golden Section for a usable and scalable grid system. To research this subject and since I am not a Biblical Scholar, I decided to find the most searched verse from each of the Books. Where I found a citing of a verse that was most searched but less well known, I decided to use verses that were more well-known. For illustrations, I decided to find famous works of art of each of the four writers of the Books, historic crucifix illustrations, and other illustrations that were cited in the passages.
