To the Temple of Mirrondas

This digital painting started in the drawing app “Alchemy” and, once it was at a point where I could progress it no further, I exported it into Photoshop and painted up the light and shadows. Originally, I had intended on painting a human shaman, or something along those lines, but went for a temple entrance instead.

The backstory comes from some notes I wrote back in 2007 about a key artefact that plays a pivotal role in a narrative I was working on at the time and still to this day. (read more here: http://lloydharvey.tumblr.com)
