NFL Browns Uniform Redesign

The Cleveland Browns is one of the oldest teams in the NFL. They have a strong fan base (despite a less than winning record). They also wear one of the worst color combinations in all of sports uniforming: brown and orange. As a personal side project, I took it upon myself to go about trying to redesign some NFL uniforms and started with the Browns for those very reasons.

The numbers adapt the stripe element of the helmet, which is carried onto the shoulder detail to create a branded look. The brown is made darker to create more contrast for the orange. A gradient on the banded sleeves creates a graphic element that ties into the shoulder to make the uniform pop.
