Akela - The Lone Wolf

A quick drawing of Akela I did yesterday to go along with an email to my Cub Scout Den this year (they also are wolves).

For those that don't know, the original Cub Scout program was modeled after Rudyard Kipling's (a friend of Baden-Powell's) Jungle Book stories. Hence, "Packs," "Dens," etc.

The wise wolf Akela, oversees the adoption of Mowgli and becomes his mentor. Along with Baloo the bear, they teach Mowgli the ways of the Jungle.
