Personal Crest

My father passed away a year ago unexpectedly. Afterward, my formerly-close family pretty much fell apart. I found myself wondering what it meant to be "my own family" and how I would represent myself going forward.

This personal project was a way to solidify my identity and honor my own direction, rather than emblazon painful memories of the past on a traditional crest. I think that a lot of people could benefit from re-imagining their "family crest" for themselves and their own vision and dreams of the world and their future.
