Metaphor:
Mostly the piggy bank icon used for the savings account icon because the piggy symbolizes the prosperity in western countries. But when they come to Asian countries and Middle East countries, that's a different story.

In the case of Sri Lanka "Punkalasa" is the symbol of prosperity. Coin banks mostly made like the shape of Punkalasa locally.

Project:
Project Seed Bag is an icon design project which basically researching and designing localized icon system for different Sri Lankan industries. It will help to develop better, unique user experience among local users in the digital products.

Through the guideline, it helps other designers and developers to develop more icons for their product needs which also can modify with any brand identity.
