Pattern Recognition

Pattern recognition is a process of identifying objects mentally without being aware of it. Humans seek patterns and meaning to make sense of something unknown. When users interact with a new website or product, decisions are made based on learned UX design patterns and visual recognition. Established UX design patterns help users understand and interact with a product or website by having common objects, visual hierarchy and navigation.
