Chatify - A Conceptual Messaging App

Chatify is an Indian social and technology company, with a namesake freeware, cross-platform messaging and Voiceover IP (VoIP) application. In addition to text messaging, Chatify users can send each other graphical stickers, emoticons, images, videos, audios, files, voice messages, contacts and user location.

Design Challenge 🤸
How might we make chatting on mobile more engaging, immersive and easy to use experience?

Inspiration 👨‍💻
I started the design process with quick intercepts and interviews. I learned about users’ habits and pain-points of using Chat Apps. Some of the major pain points interviewees identified were:

1. How to switch between multiple conversations without
going back to the inbox screen every time.
2. Lack of personalization
3. hard to use and no fun
