Austyn the Lion

This cake is a design I created from a photo of my niece Austyn dressed up in a lion costume. I gave her purple hair because purple is her favourite and a big gold crown because she is my queen. I also added a cute little teddy bear to keep her company. I added my signature black outline effect to give it a 2D illustration look. The body and head are carved from layers of vanilla cake and chocolate ganache. Then covered in chocolate ganache and finally a combination of modelling chocolate and fondant was used to add all of the details.
