Concept art, eye in ocean in eye

Concept piece for a project based around people trapped on an island. The ocean is overlapping and spilling out of the eye onto the beach eyelid. At the same time the iris is a scene of oceangoers happily swimming in a circle towards the pupil.

The client didn't like it but I do :)
