Glasgow City Council endeavour to progress many young people through their Internship Programme every year, with many finding jobs in the Council as a result. Internship can be seen as passing from student to the World of Work in a supportive and nurturing environment with many role models to inspire. I used the visual metaphor of transitioning through a portal or door in to the next phase of your life. I turned this portal or door in to a lower case i to display the internee passing through internship into a new world. the lower case i is friendly and forgiving, allowing you time to find your feet.
