David Sewell Portfolio

Excited to share the new multi-lingual website I built for David Sewell – a branding and digital designer based in Oxford.

David put all the designs and content together – including the cool chicken illustration (possibly my favourite thing ever).

As the design was quite minimal we wanted to inject some life into it – through animation.

The goal was to create something that would improve the user experience and guide them through the site, so I added the transition from the work listing to the case study page.

As for the tech used to build this project, I used Gatsby JS (a static site generator) and hooked it up to Prismic (a headless CMS) for content – so David can add or update content when he needs to.

All pages are prebuilt as static files and deployed to Netlify before the user ever visits the page – meaning better performance and security.
