The language around translation is often stale and uninspiring. That's why, at Unbabel, we took two standard figures of speech ("lost in translation" and "language barrier") and turned them on their heads.

Who said language had to be a barrier?

Best way to quiet the naysayers? Pretend they don't exist. Unbabel has overcome odds to provide fast, accurate translation. This bold and slightly cheeky rhetorical question is an excellent way to signal our mission and confidence.

To add a bit of subtlety to this tagline—and to ward off the perception that we've simply plucked the low-hanging copy fruit—I pitched the animation effect. This tagline isn't just a way to play with a figure of speech. It's the Unbabel value proposition at its most memorable and concise.
