Leaf it To Me Children's Book

Combining my love of the written word and illustration I wrote and designed a alphabetical children's book. Each letter was designed to a part of the story with a 3 to 6 year old demographic in mind. The book follows a story about a little caterpillar and a fox. One of my favourite books as a child was 'The Hungry Caterpillar' so I did take some inspiration from that book in the creation of Leaf It To Me. There was also that uncanny friendship of a fox and caterpillar explored through the pairing of digital and traditional applications of illustration, communicating the unusual relationship of the fox and the caterpillar whilst also showing that digital and tradition means can also work together.
