The Calling (responsive)
A responsive logo I created for a conference of college students who are disciples of Jesus. With a theme this year of "The Calling", the tone could be described as purposeful, eternal, mission-oriented. While shopping with my wife at a home goods store, I came upon a candle-holder in the shape of a spiral ram's horn. This brought to mind the ancient trumpets used to call people together, sometimes for celebrations, other times for battle preparations, or mourning. That inspired the icon used here. The final version uses color, but I like the b/w. Although this project is completed, feedback is welcome!
