Frontispiece to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (W.W. Norton)

This frontispiece was a very special assignment for me, for the recently revised edition of Gardner's Annotated Alice, edited by Mark Burstein … to be asked to work on such a project was a highpoint in my career of illustrating books … as Lewis Carroll would say, it was a white stone day.
I pushed the color build hard and the printer handled it perfectly.
