Revamping my personal site

I haven’t been doing much with my personal website in years. For some time I’ve been wanting to start blogging again, and I’ve had the idea in mind to bring back this ’worn’ look that I did for my site well over a decade ago. I‘ve always liked the look and been wanting to recreate it in a way that brings it into the now.

So right now I building this thing step by step, having lots of fun really doing all these subtle textures and such and seeing it come back to life. It’s not anywhere near finished and might change a bit or a lot from what I’m sharing here — just a view of the progress I’m making.

Really love working with the San Fransisco typeface (display, text and mono) here by the way, even though I know it won’t consistently display across platforms (your suggestions for alternatives are welcome!).
