A Small Village by the Lake Under the Mountains

High in the mountains, away from the city noise, a small village by the lake is awaiting the New Year, peacefully and with just a li-ittle bit of excitement. Or maybe not so little? :) The fireplaces are lit, the chimneys are smoking and the sparkling snow is slowly falling on the colorful rooftops. What shall the New Year bring? Hopefully, only the good things.
