Live Scores 👀
Our users want the latest scores from games like NFL Sunday, March Madness, and Champions League. We've got it all covered with the new Scores Tab.
We started by restructuring the overall IA to make it easier to surface relevant games and discover leagues or teams you didn't necessarily follow. This meant reorganizing how we show live, upcoming, and final games.
The sport carousel at the top went through numerous iterations until we arrived on a design that was clean and optimized for screen real estate. The score cards themselves were redesigned to look and feel more tappable. They are also dynamic and accommodate for additional lines of valuable context: Is this the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl? Let me know!
Other enhancements include links to standings, displaying odds, and a nifty calendar. With scores we battle between optimizing for information density vs. clarity and I'm pretty happy with the balance we found here.
