Healthcare Journey Map

Working with a startup in healthcare, I led a small team to complete user research and design a mobile application and sister desktop application to help prepare patients for a procedure. We started with empathy maps of patients and created journey maps for the existing process. With the insights we designed a mobile application and sister product for healthcare practitioners.
Insight: costly cancellations impact providers. Insight: Offering guidance and informing patients (new to procedure) has an impact on the post-op recovery
