Nick's Custom Boots Refresh

I am refreshing one of my clients websites as I feel like their initial site could use some extra TLC in certain areas. I have switched the header from a thin black bar with extra spacing where to logo is to a larger bar that contains everything.

I am not sure yet how I feel about it as it doesn't contrast very strongly with the background.
