About the Beer: Imperial IPA, Double IPA — call it what you will, this monster of a Pale Ale drives home the essence of what makes high octane IPAs great: a bone dry, hugely dry-hopped, massively flavorful hop monster. It has a fine balance of malt, hoppy bitterness, and warming alcohol, with a fresh hop aroma of floral citrus, and pine. This brew is bittered with massive kettle additions of five hop specialties like Nugget, Zeus and Simcoe; and features not two, but three different dry hop additions. Eight hops varieties in all result in a hop-dominated, high-abv brew that threatens to push the limits of your senses with its other worldly discovery of flavors.
