Rosies Invade the Yard Poster

This is a poster I created for National Parks of Boston's annual "Rosies Invade the Yard" event. It uses the typeface Ermine as a callback to WPA NPS posters (and WW2 posters).

It fuses more recent "unigrid style" type to give it a modern streak, using a single color NPS logo instead of the WPA DOI buffalo logo.

The artwork itself is based on a real photo with multiple women on the ship welding – we edited down to make it feel a bit more immense in scale.
