Band Logo

A work in progress shot of some of the logos I have been working on for a band.

The band is trying to appeal to a younger crowd and they were looking for a more modern cleaned up look. They play everything from bluegrass to rock to jazz and r&b so the logo had to seem broad and not fit to one type of music genre. Also, the frontman plays the mandolin and he wanted that incorporated in the logo so I made the ampersand in the shape of his mandolin.
