Sneak Peek 2018 Middle Waves Poster

These are a few of the hand-drawn (then digitally illustrated) elements from my 2018 Middle Waves gig poster. The hand-lettered type is loosely inspired by a Fort Wayne trails dedication monument that I photographed one morning. I can't wait for the kick-off party and poster show coming mid-September! Note the giraffe ears poking in at the bottom. My poster was inspired by our local zoo's wild-child baby giraffe, Thabisa, that made national news headlines after a mini-escape from her enclosure.
