Wood Pigeon

Birds of our garden - The Particularly Plump Pigeon
These birds can be found hooting asthmatically from the straining branches of local trees, or waddling up and down pecking shortsightedly. Though hefty, they can be airborne with surprising speed when a cat gets too close. In order to conserve vital calories, they wait until the last possible moment and have been known to knock over saplings and small garden buildings in their panicked escape.

Personal Project.
