Steuerbot avatar (tax chatbot)

Let me introduce this little guy, the chatbot avatar for the tax chatbot "Steuerbot" I worked on late 2016 - early 2017.

And then let me know what you think!

So the introduction:
When creating the Steuerbot App, it was very important for me to make sure, that it is always clear to the user, that he is talking to a bot and not an actual person. This is also how this little guy – the chatbot avatar – came in to being. Yes, it should feel personal and familiar and the user is supposed to like the bot. Maybe even find him "cute". But, like I said, I wanted to make sure we avoid creepy moments of "is this actually a real person?".
So I went with a really abstract avatar and chose the sign combination for the eyes, that is often used in chats to express fun, laughter and a good mood.
