Bamboo - Invest today's change in tomorrow
A team effort. After a couple of months of hard work, I'm finally revealing what the team and I have been working on.
So it's been a little over 6 months since I left my design position at @Typeform. Starting in January this year I joined a company with a mission to help bring blockchain based products to more people.
In a nutshell, Bamboo is a micro-investments platform that allows anyone to seamlessly purchase cryptographic assets, like Bitcoin. It's an easy, secure, and effective way to participate in the blockchain revolution. All you need is a mobile phone and a bank account to get started.
We are taking a sensible approach to crypto currencies, one where you take a low risk sum (your purchase round-ups) and invest them in high risk assets. Such as Bitcoin or Ethereum.
The challenge here is to build something that can scale, something that has a underlying system that takes care of new components and flows in an elegant way.
We want to make sure more people can join the crypto currency revolution, and by lowering the barrier to enter we think it will help democratize the access to participate.
Shout out to the team that have been a huge part in iterating on the designs and contributed with essential feedback to make sure we've kept moving in the direction that lead us here.
