Geert Wilders in Court

Yesterday was the opening day of the appeal of Geert Wilders, the infamous leader of a far-right party in the Netherlands.

There were eleven days planned for this appeal, but on the first day he wanted to postpone his case, for further investigations, but that failed. The judges refused and now they have to recuse themselves (recusal request). He is on trial for hate speech, discrimination and group insult.
