I spent about a month behind the scenes on my Woocommerce store. Before I was using a Paypal button system that was buggy with my WordPress site. However, I was only keeping it in place until I could open the Woocommerce store.

Nearly all of my products are 'variable products' according to Woocommerce documentation. My first step was to set up my main offerings as attributes, which can be used for variations. It took me a while to realize I needed the full dimensions and weight of each variable. After that, the site worked smoothly.

I amazed myself with how little I had to look up in the documentation. I had previous experience with other store platforms so I knew my way around. Most of it was fairly straight forward or I had room for trial and error. CSV import also made getting started a breeze.
