The Orkney Venus
The Orkney Venus, also known as the Westray Wifie, is the earliest known representation of the human form in Scotland, and one of only three Neolithic depictions of a person in the UK. The figurine was carved out of sandstone, possibly with a bone tool, around 3,000 BC.
