Not For Glory

Poster design for a typographic poster competition called "Literally Design". This year's competition content was based on the 1950 acceptance speech given by William Faulkner when he won the Nobel Peace Prize that year. This design is inspired by hand-lettering found in abundance during Faulkner’s life. Technological advancements since Faulkner’s time period allowed me to create this design digitally, reminding us that graphic design today is still built upon the historical foundations of the past.
