青海波 | Seighaia Patterned Bowl

Foodle.pro is a site where foodies from all over the world can record and share their experiences with fellow foodies. They asked for a gastro booklet that will be used for evaluating dishes in restaurants. Wanted something on the cover that represents gastronomy, but also the japanese cuisine's high quality.
To achieve the level of craftmanship (shokunin) one needs power and resilience. Thats what led me to traditional japanese patterns and the seigaiha one in particular. This pattern can be found painted inside bowls and a really powerful motif to be used for hot foil stamping.
