Robot Octopus (Marvel Comics 90's version)

I was watching some comic retrospective thing on youtube today and realized how much I missed the old Marvel Comics logo. (This one: http://bit.ly/2F2aEzy) So I spent a bit of time doing a parody of that- basically an excuse to do some lettering practice and to look at comics.

After the logo, I whipped up some Kirby Bubbles for the background, and added some goo to the logo (because... reasons?) and then halftoned... Well... everything.

…I guess some days you get a dumb idea and can't resist working on it, even when sometimes those dumb ideas take all day.

Thankfully, It's always worth it.
