Forge 45 | Logo Concept Rework

As a designer I am always looking to improve and I love looking back at old work to see how I've developed. I loved the previous logo created but I wanted to put into practice new techniques to create a slicker, more sophiscated logo that had structure. The previous logo had thicker lines in certain areas that could have been cleaned up but the younger designer in me wasn't to know that!

Why the flowing lines?

The client is combining two passions and I wanted this to be apparent in the logo, I wanted the connection of the "F" and the "45" to signify that connection.
