Part of my Daily Logo Series Vol. 02, where I post a logo every day for 100 days in a row.

The word "collective" has come up in conversation a lot this past week with clients and friends. While this isn't an entirely new concept (starbursts and things inside a C) I really liked the idea of multiple lines making up a greater whole.

Collective is also just a fun word. 🙃

The C is from the typeface Golden Book with lots of tiny edits to make it a better monogram.

I looked at quite a few references to get the colors right. I haven't worked with red a lot but it seems like a maroon or dark purple is a common pairing. Whenever I try something new I look at what's been done before and try to piece together why I like it and why it works.
