Not only is this film unbelievable, Hans Zimmer’s score for the this epic war story ratchets up the tension tenfold. To be able to sonically portray a torpedo skimming through the ocean with violent intent is a skill I wager few possess. Hans is one of my favorite musicians ever - the way he can orchestrate such specific and meaningful emotions in his music - so inspiring! If you want to give this soundtrack a whirl, try “Supermachine” Better yet, just see the film, but in a theatre if possible. If you’re using headphones, you’re doing it wrong!
