Monero Wallet GUI

Let's start with a call for designers and developers: The open-source community needs you.

Now to the story of this design. A few weeks a go, I wanted to found out how wallets for cryptocurrencies work. I tested out the one for Monero, which is one of the top cryptocurrencies with a market cap of around 3 billion $. I didn't find the UI particularly pleasing visually, so I spent a few hours in the evening restyling the UI, and posted it to the Monero Reddit community. They loved it, somebody from the Monero dev team picked it up and now this design is being implemented into the official wallet software. I am continuing to help move this design forward, but I have little bandwidth and there is a ton of work to do with a tiny team. This design is just a basic restyling, it doesn't even touch many usability issues, the mobile layout, etc.

So if you are interested in crypto or open-source, or just want to pick up a fun side-project in a very hot space, you are invited to join this project and help out.
