Expanded Date Filtering

Expanded date range selection pattern for data analytics platform. To preserve clarity, expanded filter items are moved from high-level sidebars to flyouts, showing expanded options—in this case, the ability to filter data by year, quarter, or specific date range blocks. In order to provide a good selection experience to users, and reduce cognitive load, all options, whether selected or not, are displayed. Once a user makes their selection, the flyout collapses, and the high-level choice is displayed in the sidebar.
