June Bugs

June bugs in Costa Rica are called May bugs. Growing up, I remember how they took over my town for the entirety of the month. This year, however, I only managed to see around ten. No other creature makes me feel as disgusted and amazed as beetles, and these guys are quickly vanishing from the most populated areas here in San Jose. These are the illustrations of the ones I saw this past May.
